Attention Savvy PR People:

INTO TOMORROW DAILY FEATURES

The ADVANCED RADIO NETWORK offers a unique opportunity to public relations firms, publicists and manufacturers of consumer electronics, web services and new technology!

You may want to submit some material to us in the form of ... no more than 140 words in the BODY of an e-mail ... to be used as one of our :60 Daily Features -- "Into Tomorrow - Everyday with Dave Graveline"!

If you have the ability to ALSO submit it as a Spanish script for our "Tecnologia: Cambiando tu Vida" version, please do.

Every two weeks, we generate fresh new feature programs for air on the Advanced Radio Network including our affiliate stations in the U.S., along with XM Satellite Radio. They also air around the world on 600+ AM & FM stations in over 140 countries on the American Forces Radio networks (AFN).

Material may be sent in anytime, but may get bumped to the following month if our deadline passes, or if more timely, date-sensitive material needs to be used.  Put together no more than 140 words. Make it conversational, and as if Dave Graveline were speaking -- because he will be. Keep it bright and upbeat, even humorous if appropriate. A couple of examples are included below.

Here are the guidelines...

  • 55 second script  (140 words or less) dealing with consumer electronics & technology, computers and/or the Internet, preferably undated material.
  • Submit ONCE as text in the BODY of an e-mail to features@graveline.com
  • In the Subject field, indicate the Feature "Title"
  • After the Feature, list your Contact Info.
  • Monthly deadline: first week of the month prior to the "air" month
  • Content:  Any new consumer oriented product, service or technology
  • Be conversational & upbeat (note the scripts below)
  • Use a nice, short "teaser"-line upfront and a good close.
  • Don't be commercial or boring  (we'll only have to change it, or drop it)
  • No phone numbers
  • Include web site for more information
  • Include phonetic pronunciations as needed. (If in doubt .. spell it out)  ;-)
  • Sound bites are encouraged & may also be attached as a .wav file, running no more than 10 seconds. Keep in mind the total time!

URLs may be noted under the title, and may be posted on the "Into Tomorrow" web site at www.graveline.com for listeners to obtain more information. The Advanced Radio Network reserves the right to make changes to submitted scripts and to reject scripts that do not fit our criteria.  GREAT scripts will obviously be accepted often and regularly ... from GREAT writers!

You should also suggest that your client post the "As Featured ... on Into Tomorrow" link on the Main Page of their web sites. Simple instructions are at www.graveline.com/links . All links must point to www.graveline.com . Please advise where we might find the links.

Space Coke

Have a Coke and a smile ... from space.

Hi I’m Dave Graveline, and this is “Into Tomorrow”.

It had to happen sooner or later.... The Russians have been taking advantage of some commercial opportunities with the Mir Space Station, well now it would appear that NASA may be doing the same.  Coca-Cola has flown two $95,000 soda machines aboard the Shuttle, to see if they'll dispense cold drinks in space.  Both missions were a .. Classic success! Now Coke is trying really hard to be the first official soft drink of the International Space Station, where the occupants may not even know what to call the dispenser. NASA’s official name for the coke machine is a “fluid generic bioprocessing apparatus”.  Whew!  We assume it'll still be the real thing!? I can even hear the Soda Jerk now, asking if you want some fries with that?

(SFX Pop-top) Here's to bringing you further "Into Tomorrow" ... and inviting you to visit our web site anytime for your chance to register for some great prizes at graveline.com    This is Dave Graveline.

Home Networking
http://www.intel.com/home/network

More than 15 million homes in the US today have more than one PC. So, sharing PC resources might just be a great way to keep peace in the family.

Hi, this is Dave Graveline for "Into Tomorrow".

Intel has developed a single-chip system that will let consumers create a computer network in their home or small office using existing telephone lines.  You will be able to access any printer from any computer.  You'll be able to make a single Internet account work for your household like never before, because everyone with a PC can access the Internet simultaneously. So, while you're checking your stock portfolio, your kids can send email or research a school paper on the Web. By using a telephone line, consumers and small business owners will be able to network multiple PCs together, without having to rewire your office or home. Intel is the a founding member of the Home Phoneline Networking Alliance, a consortium of 11 companies that will work together to develop a specification for developers to use in generating home networking products based on phone line technology.

Networking you into tomorrow ... and inviting you to stop by graveline.com for more info ... I'm Dave Graveline.
