Into Tomorrow Product Spotlight with Rob Almanza

Earbuds - Hating your crappy earbuds? We show you a couple of our favorites.

If you don’t like your current earbuds, you’re not stuck! There are better options available. I’m not big on the overpriced, bulky, noise-cancelling headphones. I’m more of an earbuds-kinda-guy. Here are our picks:

Platinum i-Series earphones from iharmonix

1) Platinum i-Series earphones from iharmonix

They’re pretty stylish and fit comfortably. They have an inline microphone, so you can use it as a headset for your cell phone. It’s compatible with iPhone, iPhone 3G and BlackBerry devices. Also, it features a multi-function button to send and end phone calls and can pause music as well.

The sound quality during a recent flight was pretty good. I was impressed. They’re reasonably priced at under 60 bucks.

vibe from v-moda

2) vibe from v-moda

These are very comfortable to wear and the sound quality rocks! They feature a technology called BLISS - Bass Level Isolating Soft Silicone that reduces noise and deepens bass. They’re a bit pricey at 100 bucks. I think they justify that because the plug is gold-plated. Trust me, you’ll enjoy them!

Both of these earbiuds are made from alloy materials and come with different sized soft ear fittings to fit your ear.

Let us know what you think about our picks. Send us an email.
